Pat wings completely dry with paper towels to remove all moisture.
Toss wings in a large bowl with oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, pepper, and baking powder if using.
Preheat air fryer to 380°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
Arrange wings in a single layer without overlapping. Cook in batches if needed.
Cook at 380°F for 12 minutes, flip wings, then increase to 400°F and cook for 10 to 12 more minutes until golden and internal temp reaches 165°F.
Rest wings for 1 to 2 minutes, then toss in sauce or serve plain with dipping sauces.
